So there i was staring at you with the ,oh wait what did you call them? OH YEAH, my big puppy dog eyes! SO i was staring at you with my big puppy dog eyes. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous. I was unsure of where i was. My best friend said he would be right back but i hadn't heard from him in about a month or so. I had been waiting so patiently.
Anyway so there you were, You seemed really sad so i walked up to the bars and stuck my nose out. You gave me your palm and it seemed like you smiled and laughed a little when i licked your fingertips. After that I felt something wet land between my eyes. It reminded me of the raindrops that used to fall when my best friend would walk with me on cloudy days. Where is he?? . Anyway it rolled down my cheek and i caught it with my tongue, It tasted salty. We looked at each other for a little. You wiped some of those salty raindrops off your face with your sleeve. Then you were gone. I would have loved to spend more time with you. Oh well.
Then the next day there you were! You didn't seem sad this time either. They opened my cage and off we went! You laughed at me the whole ride home as I tried to catch raindops out of the car window.
We saved each other that day. And the rest is history.
